The miniature training line is a great accessory to add to your puppy or dog’s training kit. They are great for allowing your furry friend some freedom whilst you are practicing your recall.
The training line will give you peace of mind knowing that your pup can run safely but you can still have peace of mind that they won’t be very far from you. When you are training in an open area you can drop the line, allowing it to trail behind the dog. The line is easy to pick up or you can stand on the line whilst you are calling your puppy or dog to come back to you.
We do strongly recommend that you practice your recall training with your puppy or dog under no or minimal distractions whilst you are teaching them, gradually increasing the distractions.
There are plenty of secure fields/paddocks that you can hire very cheaply for practicing your dog or puppy’s training in a safe environment. The area you use for your recall training doesn’t need to be too big. Having a smaller area to practice your pups recall can go in your favour. As your puppy or dog progresses their recall training you can add varying levels of distractions.
The lightweight polypropylene webbing is available in 18 colours and we recommend the 13mm width. If you would like a wider webbing please email us before you order.
We can also add a fleece handle to this line for extra comfort. This webbing is ideal for extra small breed dogs and small puppies. Please request the fleece handle when you place your order.
Available standard lengths: 6m and 10m. We use a lightweight 13mm trigger clip.
We also make training lines from BioThane® Airweb webbing and cushion webbing.
